Rena has over 20 years of Sales and Marketing experience and public speaking. She will share the tips and techniques she has gained from her training, speaking in front of groups, and in one on one presentation's. Rena has a dynamic presence that will pump you up and give you the confidence you need to enhance any presentation you give. She will show you how to professionally command attention vs. demand attention in any setting.
Rena won many achievement awards as an employment recruiter and greatly exceeded sales goals during her time in the construction industry. At the end of 2006, Rena was permanently laid off as did many dedicated Americans. Not able to find employment, she decided to develop her business as a Speaking Instructor and write her memoir.
Rena became a member of Toastmasters International in May of 2007 as a way to help perfect her speaking skills and leadership abilities. These skills and abilities have since instilled in her the confidence to not only develop her business, but to publicly share her story of child abuse to inspire others to take negative challenges in life and turn them into positive opportunities for a brighter future.
As a Toastmaster she has held the office of President, Vice President of Education, Sergeant At Arms and currently holds the office of Vice President of Membership for Club 1702 Fort Myers. She has achieved the Competent Communicator, the Competent Leader award and Advanced Communicator Bronze. Rena has entered many speaking contests in Toastmasters using an arsenal of bitter experiences throughout her life turning the lemons into lemonade, which helped her win first place on more than one occasion for humor, inspiration, and evaluator contests at the club and area level.
In September 2011 she completed her credentials has a Certified World Class Speaking Coach with Craig Valentine
Rena also enjoys sharing her time at the PACE Center for Girls in Lee County, Florida as a volunteer.
Having graduated from the “School of Hard Knocks” as a child with refresher courses throughout her adulthood, Rena has written her memoir to share her story in hopes that it will encourage other survivors to seek help for their child abuse and reclaim their lives. It is her mission to touch those who need to be touched and inspired through her story of triumph over tragedy.
